WW2 USA Person in the Forces Sterling Pin

WW2 USA, Person in the Forces, crest pin. Small dull gold coated, STERLING, marked, floral rectangle pin. 17mm x 11mm. With a red and white rectangle design on it with single blue Star in the centre, indicating one person in the Services. Looks to have been mounted with a pin fastener, which has been removed. Very nicely made.
