WW2, TOKEN Luxemburg LIBERATION VU LETZEBURG 10.9.1944

Token. Heavy copper colored coated medallion, 1 5/8" across, with words, LIBERATION VU LETZEBURG 10. 9. 1944 and Crowned, Coat of arms of Luxemburg on one side and on other a soldier, wearing a USA style Helmet and US collar tabs, maker name ??? FRITZ, hard to make out first part.

I know very little about this piece but would assume that it was issued by the Luxemburg Government upon there Liberation by American Troops in 1944. Excellent condition.
